Resilient Families United Caregiver Support & Youth Resources

For parents
Description

Resilient Families United (RFU) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to ensuring no family raising children with complex needs has to navigate challenges alone. They support caregivers of youth ages 0–21 with developmental disabilities, behavioral or mental health needs, neurodiversity, or chronic health conditions.

In addition to core support programs, such as family peer mentorship, caregiver support groups, crisis prevention, IEP/special education training, and systems navigation, RFU provides practical direct assistance for families, including back-to-school clothes and supplies, art supplies for self-care, limited gift cards, and free electric-car charging. Most services are completely free, and self-referrals are welcome.
